ABOUT DELANA SIMON, LCSW

Delana Simon, LCSW, is a Clinical Social Worker in New York and New Jersey. She provides an inviting and empowering space for her clients to achieve healing, fulfillment, and growth. Delana has experience helping individuals who are struggling with depression, and various anxiety disorders. Delana also treats adults who are experiencing life transitions, trauma, interpersonal conflict, and identity issues that are negatively impacting their quality of life.

  • Although Delana’s approach is primarily psychodynamic, she also utilizes interventions from other therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma focused therapy to help her clients initiate positive change in their lives.

    Prior to joining Healthy Minds NYC, Delana was a psychotherapist at two outpatient primary care clinics based in Harlem, NY and Bronx, NY. Her past experiences have equipped her to work with diverse backgrounds. She completed her master’s degree in social work at New York University.
